I believe art is a method of consciousness, a way of knowing that doesn't rely on institutional validation.
Art is intelligence and experience - perspective independent of dominating cultures, censorship, or dominating narratives.
My work is an act of reclaiming my voice. I create to remind myself that pleasure is sacred, that desire is not a sin but a form of knowing. Through painting, sculpture, and story, I explore the space where the erotic and the spiritual become power— where the feminine body becomes both prayer and rebellion.
For too long, systems of power have silenced or sanctified women only through distortion — turning our bodies into symbols to be worshiped or feared. I choose instead to speak from within the body: to let it tell its own truth, to transmute the shame imposed by history into art that hums with autonomy and beauty. This process is ongoing and not perfect - but it's honest and a vulnerable journey.
My work honors alternative histories — the forgotten goddesses, the mystics, the outlaws who lived outside sanctioned narratives. Each work is a reminder that to create is to remember, and to remember is to reclaim power.
In giving voice to what was once hidden, I hope to awaken that same freedom in others: the permission to be fully seen, fully felt, and fearlessly alive.
